Cell
Phones and Other Communication Devices
Cell phones are a necessary part of many peoples’ lives, and
a whole new type of etiquette is growing out of their use. In business
and education, cell phone manners are essential. So, to help everyone
at MVAS, here are our agreements about electronic communication
devices.
All cell phones, pagers, and any other device
that can make an audible signal must be turned off during class
time. At no time in any class may a cell phone be used to communicate
with anyone else. No text messaging may be sent or received. These
devices are to be turned off. All of us need to focus and limit
our distractions during class time.
Anyone
who does not keep this agreement will be considered to be acting
in a disrespectful manner, will be referred to administration, the
device will be confiscated and consequences will apply.
