"First High School Dance"

I was a ninja and my date was a samurai. We were ready to get our groove on at the Halloween Dance. Waiting at the gym door for my two other cousins, Trang and Judy, once they arrive the party was started. We danced, jumped, shaked and sweated that night away.

For being my first dance. I really enjoyed every moment of it.

"MVAS Memories"

Not like any seniors around here, I came in the beginning of senior year. Over the years I had been moving around constantly from town, even states. Well this is the third High School I been too. I must say it’s really difficult to try to fit in for the third time but these are only some of the challenge I face throughout my life. When I first enter this complex I wasn’t sure about what four high school I would like to be a part of , some of my friends who were seniors from last year told me to go to MVAS because they are really friendly and very layback, for sure that wasn’t a lie . I really enjoy it here in MVAS and the people here are very wonderful as I’m speaking. After I settle in during first semester I found myself helping the community through Mr. Black in his Senior Studio Art class. Even though it was a challenge when you’re  a new students  and didn’t know much about the community I got myself into the Colina Cookbook  Project, I must say it wasn’t simple as a I thought it was but I meet amazing people along the way like my Web design teacher, Ms. Lake . She is always encouraging to do better and always tell us that we’re the best. Though I been facing many problem in my family myself but those words from Ms. Lake every day, put more confidents in myself and easy the difficulties I face.  I also meet an amazing friend who helps me along the way when I have trouble. I don’t know what I will do without Molina. Even though she’s very shy and quiet but she’s an amazing friend who is willing to help you.

"Senior Year!"

High school has been a great experience for me. Since a freshman and now a senior, the way I am and the way I see things has completely changed. Before, as a 9th grader I was super shy and quiet until joining the sport and clubs that I did. Softball and yearbook made me more confident and it slightly changed my personality. Now I know all about my strengths and my weaknesses. Being a senior I feel more independent and I’m not afraid of trying something new. After all the clubs and activities that I participated in, I am thankful for joining it. I’m glad that I’m graduating and I want to say that without friends, family and teachers I wouldn’t have made it. Congrats the class of 2010!!!
