3,4 Grades: 10 Prerequisites: English 1,2 Students acquire language arts skills in reading, writing, viewing, listening, speaking, and language study for a variety of audiences and purposes. Students will comprehend, appreciate, and respond to diverse selections from world literature, including short stories, poetry, novels, drama, and nonfiction. Students will further develop the multi-paragraph expository composition and complete oral and written assignments that address the tenth grade Language Arts standards. Independent reading is required. |
