program emphasizes and supports the following 3 major goals: movement
skills and movement knowledge, self-image and personal development,
social development. The goals are met through the selection of the
following activities: individual sports (archery, golf, fencing),
racquet sports (badminton, racquetball, tennis), team sports (basketball,
flag football, softball, soccer, field hockey and floor hockey),
weight training and conditioning, step aerobics, dance and movement
activities, recreational sports and games (frisbee, golf, over-the-line,
team building games, etc.)
