Sheltered Social Studies classes are offered for students who are designated as English Language Learners. The following sheltered classes are available: World History, U.S. History, and Government/Economics. These classes are taught by teachers who are trained to use specific strategies for English Language Learners. The curriculum covers the same material as the other Social Studies classes.
