ASB
About
MVAS’ Associated Student Body (ASB) is composed of all
kinds of different students, everyone from the “preps” to
the “punks” contributes to ASB’s many varied
activities. Every year ASB promotes events such as Homecoming,
Spring Ball, Friday rallies, and other activities they come up
with during
the year.
If you were to walk into Mrs. Butcher’s third period class
you would see a room full of motivated students singing, painting,
gleefully shouting and somewhere in between, getting their work
done. As ASB helps the students and MVAS, ASB members also help
themselves by learning about becoming a better leaders and improving
other necessary life skills. Sounds like something you might want
to be a part of? Come by and see Mrs. Butcher in room 703 and join
the FUN!
Events
ASB does all kinds of different events throughout the year.
We help work with the other ASBs in our complex on events such
as Homecoming and Spring Ball, but we also do “MVAS only” events
like lunch rallies and leadership projects. As part of ASB you
will
be encouraged to present your own ideas for events and work with
others to make them a reality.
