Senior Exhibition Portfolio

In preparation for your senior presentation and to prepare for college and work, the development of your portfolio will be important. You will meet regularly with your spectrum teacher to discuss your portfolio. You might include items produced early in a year that will be replaced be items you think are better. At the end, you will make final choices and prepare your portfolio for an exhibition.

Works that you might select would include:

  • Documentation of community service
  • Examples of projects from academic classes
  • Explanation of life goals
  • Yearly portfolio self-reflections

Choose work for your portfolio of which you are proud. Include at least one of the types of writing listed below.

Freshman Year

  • Autobiography memoir
  • Description of place
  • Explanation of a process
  • Analysis of character

Sophomore Year

  • Report of an interview
  • Biographical sketch
  • Problem-solution analysis
  • Evaluation of a story

Junior Year

  • Cause-effect analysis
  • Comparative analysis
  • Controversial issue analysis
  • Analysis of a theme in a literature, art, or music

Senior Year
(Some of these assignments will be transferred into the Senior Exhibition binder for final presentation/defense)
